I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS MINI WHICH HAS BEEN A GREAT CAR I WILL MISS IT, BUT TIME MARCHES ON This car has been well maintained and was ordered with the following options; COLD WEATHER PACKAGE-Heated washers, mirrors, seats PREMIUM PACKAGE-multi function steering wheel with audio and speed controls, dual sunroof, automatic AC, computer SPORT PACKAGE-Dynamic stability control, sport seats, fog lamps, spoiler, 17" wheels, stripes, Xenon lights Rain sensing wipers Auto dimming rear view mirror Harmon Kardon Sound system upgrade I installed a bra when I bought the car Both factory carpet (virtually new) and rubber floor mats come with the car. At about 50,000 miles I upgraded certain systems including: Wilwood big brake kit (black calipers)--Awesome--I just installed new 12.125" slotted front rotors for these K&N intake system Alta supercharger pulley upgrade Chrome header system with Borla track exhaust system--Note that this system is not legal for the road as it does not meet emission requirement. The check engine light is always on due to the oxygen sensor tripping due to the undersized catalytic converter. I have been using this on the road and I have had it pass the Colorado Emission inspection 3 times since I installed this upgrade. The emissions are very low, but the manufacturer has noted that the system is designed for track use only. The motor has been chipped by the local MINI dealer Iridium plugs just installed I installed Hella driving light package with proper factory switching and circuits installed by the dealer. This is an awesome lighting package paired with the Xenon self leveling headlamps. Although I have wanted to, I have never had the car on a track Everything is in working order and the engine shows no sign of fading I have recently replaced the Power steering pump (very common Mini problem) and put new tires on the front with 80% matching tires on the rear from Discount Tire with Certificates. They are not run flats which is pretty typical. The Dealer has added an electric circuit to isolate the cooling fan which solved the factory overheating problems. Had a window motor replaced once, but otherwise car hass been great. THE BAD: There are some scratches on the rear bumper, a small dent below the left rear taillight, and the drivers seat leather is worn on the left bolster. There are photos of each of these things. Some Chrome has worn from the interior door pulls. This car is not new and has been my daily driver for 8 years so it shows some wear. Other stuff of interest This car comes with a 6 speed manual transmission. This particular transmission model is only available on the early minis. What makes it special is the close ratio gearing that is great for spirited road driving but does not allow jack rabbit starts from a dead stop. This car is fast, safe, and noisy. The Borla track exhaust is not a timid sound. My wife says she can hear me coming home from a mile away. OOP's! But it is a lot of fun and adds significant HP. I suspect the hp is up in the 225 range as the car easily kept up with my wifes 225 hp Audi TT. The car has never had any body work and has the original engine and transmission. I have the original factory stainless steel exhaust system and the factory brake set up which will come with the car if wanted. I strongly recommend you inspect the car before bidding as the car is sold as is where is and without any warrantee or guarantee. The mileage may vary slightly due to test drives and I have added a few miles on this listing in anticipation of this (see photo of odometer).
