Vehicle Detail
Sold As Is Manual transmission, AM/FM/Cassette, A/C, nice wheels (not hub caps) I guess I'm not technically the first owner, because my ex bought the car for me, but in reality I am the only owner. It's never been in an accident. It has a new timing belt, a new alternator, newish tires, fairly new battery. Brand new windshield wipers. Full-sized spare tire. The poor car's issues are that the thermostat housing cracked and a piston may be cracked, too. It will still start up, but I don't advise it until after a mechanic replaces the thermostat housing, adds radiator fluid (which is gone because of the cracked thermostat housing), and determines the status of the engine. The car isn't big enough for our family anymore, so we were getting ready to sell it anyhow. Also, the clear coat started peeling when the car was new, and we haven't had that fixed yet. And, the airbag light won't turn off, we never had it checked out, though, so it could be a fuse or something. I have no clue. There is a crack on the dashboard plastic that encases the instruments on the dashboard. At one point in time, a can of paint spilled on the rear passenger seat. So, the passenger rear seat was reupholstered with the same fabric as factory, and the seatbelt receiver was replaced (not the same receiver as the original, but the webbing is the same color). The floor boards could use a good steam cleaning, but since I don't want to injure the engine any more I'm not going to drive it to a place that can clean them. A non-smoking vehicle. Very reliable until the thermostat housing broke. You will need to tow it away. Any questions? Please feel free to ask!
