For Sale is a 1965 Chevrolet Bel-Air 4-Door with a automatic 2-speed Powerglide transmission on the column. The car is completely stock. It was stored for 20 years in a barn then was sold and had new brake lines put on then was a daily driver for 2 years. It was then sold to me and I have had it for 4 years. The car is very solid but does need some TLC. The interior is rough but like I said the car is solid. The paint is faded and would need painted or could make a GREAT Rat Rod. There is a couple spots on the exterior that need work. Check out pictures. I was planning on getting some low profile tires and rims and just driving it the way it is Rat Rod style, but, I am getting married in the next month and might be moving and need to make space. The engine is a V-8 283 with a 2 barrel carburator. Car runs good. Pulls a little to the right when braking. The car has a crack in the windshield that happened when we were washing it last summer. The car is completely stock engine, interior - tranny and everything. The engine still has lead valves. The rims are alumnium but also comes with original rims and hubcaps. My son started taking all the chrome off it after I got it and it is in the trunk and back seat. The drivers door needs a little work on the mechanism and the door panel is off but is in the trunk. Jay We own a little country store called The Rustic Barn. We like to say that THE RUSTIC BARN is over 120 years in the making. The reason we say that is because to the best of our knowledge, the barn is a little over 120 years old. This farm has been in the Miller family since the late 1800’s. Sheep and pigs were raised on this farm and in the latter years it served as a horse barn. The barn has for the most part been kept in its original condition with hand hewn beams and some actual tree logs. The metal siding and front porch are, however, additions to the original barn. My wife and I bought the farm in 1990. A friend and I were looking for a place to sell our crafts (without much success). One day I felt the Lord laying it on my heart to start a little store here to sell our wares. Because I was also looking for a way to save the barn before it started falling apart, it just seemed like the perfect place. In March of 1999, my dad and I started remodeling. In trying to keep the barn as authentic and rustic as we could, the old wood pins and beams are still showing to give that 1800’s look and feel. We started small just to see how things would go and have been so pleased that we plan to eventually move into the rest of the barn. We also feel we have some of the finest handmade crafts and candles in the area. Just as God has been faithful in helping to restore the barn, He has been faithful in helping to restore my life. It predicts or says the world will come to an end in 2012. For some reason our culture is overwhelmed with knowing when the end of the world will come. The problem is people want to know when the end is coming, what our Lord wants us to know is, are we ready for His return? Our Lord says in Matthew 24:44 (New International Version) so you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV) So don’t be alarmed with when the end of the world will come.
