1981 BMW R100RS 1,000 cc Boxer Twin - 3rd owner with full maintenance record. 30,000 on full rebuilt balanced engine. Dependable sound motor. Gearbox gone through with new clutch and shifting mechanism springs. New tires recently. RS fairing with high Parrabellum windscreen. Needs Tach rebuild/needle came off. Battery holds charge but will need replacing. Recent carb rebuild with new diaphrams, new Alternator brushes. Just registered for 2011. All synthetic fluids since rebuild. For all of you out of state who are interested: this bike is definitely up for the ride. I am willing to hold until better weather. Bike kept covered in carport. Now's the time to own a classic beauty!
