Body = Rusty 1926 ford coupe. More than enough patina. chopped 5 1/2 inches (needs finishing touches around door and quarter window lips). Could use decklid or not...model a tailight. Plexiglass windshield.1937 ford dash.channeled 3 1/2 inches.mid 30's tailights of unknown origin, possibly packard...they are huge, but fit the car nice.could use bear claw latches on the doors(temporarily using small dead bolt). Chassis = 2 1/2 x 3 1/2, 3/16 wall custom built frame, tig and mig welded, chris alston safety hoops at front and rear of drive shaft. 3.23 posi equipped, trans am rearend. 1937 ford bones hold the rear end in place at a 3.5 degree upward pinion angle that matches the transmissions 3.5 degree downward angle. 2 free floating upper support bars installed for added strength, with a panhard bar. 1937 ford rear leaf spring for cushion. Front suspension uses a original 3 3/4 mor-drop axle from oakland,ca. Axle is held in place by a suicide front perch, and 1930 model a wishbones, with a posie spring,axle has been drilled and smoothed. All suspension pieces have chromoloy heim-joints. Crafty hand fabricated motor mounts keep the engine mounted. A custom steel skid plate was fabricated to protect the oil pan. 1952 ford f-1 steering, modified to sprint car style steering. 4...Four wheel disk brakes with 1969 camero 4 wheel disk master cylinder. This is a chassis you can feel safe in..all suspension geometry was planned and well thought out before the build and inspected by professional builders. Engine = 1969 chevy 327. 160 psi on all 8 cylinders. 2.02 intake valves, 1.60 exaust valve camel hump heads. Holley single plane manifold,edelbrock 600 carb, pertronix ignition, custom headers, new alternator with low mount bracket, new water pump,Have put at least a 1000 miles on her and she shitts and gets!!Very loud!! In hot weather she will over heat a little, just the nature of the beast( a bigger electric fan would help alot though as the one on it came of a old 4 cylinder and doesnt really cover the mustang radiator). Transmission = chevy turbo 350, works great. Does not slip. shifts through all the gears fine. Interior = Bare bones!! memory foam seat cushions and a steel floor. comes with military amo/tool box. surf board and boadie the dog not included. Originally came from back east. The car has had many pictures in different magazines ol skool rodz,rebel rodz, smokin shutdown(german mag) over the years during its transformation. actually used to run a radiator in the back at one point.
