Description of Specific Product for Sale What is Included: - 2006 Honda Civic Si Turbo, 6speed manual transmission + Greddy T517Z Turbo Kit ($6400 = $4800 parts + $1600 labor & tax) + Greddy EVO2 exhaust ($800 = $659 parts + $160 labor & tax) + Hondata Flashpro programmable engine management system with datalogging (+$600) -- latest tuning maps installed + Stern ST5 17" Hyper Silver wheels ($940 shipped) with nearly new Nexen tires (+$520 mounted and balanced) + Honda factory option rubber floor mats to protect interior carpeting + Tein lowered suspension, "HID" headlights, XM radio, tinted windows & other minor reliability, appearance, & performance modifications - Clean, clear title and title history - Original documentation and owner manuals, radio password/code, etc. In addition, I am including a Greddy eManage Ultimate programmable engine management system with datalogging and Greddy eManage Ultimate 2006-2011 plug-and-play wiring harness, both of which are disconnected and can be removed and resold to recover some of the car's cost. Online prices for these two items are about $910 ($592.50 + $317.95 respectively) via Procivic.com. Condition: Car is still covered under original Honda manufacturer's warranty for another ~9 months (August, 2011). Please download the Honda Warranty Booklet for more information. This is in addition to eBay's Buyer Protection as well as my guarantee (see "Warranty / Refunds / Exchanges" section near the bottom of this auction). - Excellent (9.7 / 10), both cosmetically and functionally. Buy it, take a week vacation from your work and drive it 3000miles back to California without a worry of reliability. I do not smoke and neither did the prior owner -- the interior smells like a new car. - Low mileage vehicle rarely saw inclement weather. It has zero rust, virtually no signs of wear, very few rock chips, etc. Mileage may increase slightly if I have to show it to prospective buyers. - Accident free no chassis work has ever been performed on the car, nor needed -- I've included several of the original OEM VIN stickers in the photos of the trunk, hood, etc. to assure you of this. I believe every body panel on the car is original. This is a wonderful car -- it will be missed, but I have too many toys and too little space. I bought this car as a gift for my girlfriend, but ultimately she chose to buy a 4-door Civic SI instead... also turbocharged! This is the second least expensive of the 8 sports cars I own and I need the garage space for other cars and projects. If I kept the car, what would I change? Nothing, really. The only imperfections, none of which affect the cars usability or value: 1) Minor crack in one of the plastic fog light lens (fog lights still work perfectly anyway) 2) Minor scuff marks on lower black-plastic air dam beneath front bumper (nearly invisible unless you look for it) 3) Greddy fuel pressure gauge has been physically installed in the interior, but not yet connected to the fuel line. This was to help monitoring of fuel starvation during hard acceleration & cornering on a near-empty fuel tank, but is unnecessary, as at least I've never experienced fuel starvation. I didn't like the gear shift knob used on the car until a few weeks ago. It was leather with red stitching that matched the interior and looked great, but it was a bit loose, so I replaced the shifter knob with the red anodized aluminum ball, which feels better and also looks great. Overview of Turbocharger & Engine Management System: This Civic achieves about 275whp on a Dynojet dyno (approx 315 flywheel hp) on 93octane pump gas. It is incredibly smooth and docile driving around town off-boost, yet constantly urges the driver to accelerate by building boost even by 2500rpm at part throttle. The clutch is smooth and easy -- no chatters, nor stiff. I've never drag raced the car, nor speed-shift, but simply enjoy how the turbo and FlashPro have transformed the car's behaviors. It beckons to "go" all the time and is an absolute joy. A review of a identical car with the same turbocharger kit: http://www.turbomagazine.com The Greddy turbo kit is excellent, but Greddy's eManage Ultimate is simply not as good as the FlashPro. I am including the original eManage Ultimate engine management system with the car, but would never go back -- the FlashPro is simply excellent, with driveability superior to stock while offering better performance across the rev range than the eManage. Here is a review of the Greddy turbo kit, using the FlashPro engine management system, though the reviewer had not yet finished configuring the turbo's wastegate, resulting in much less performance than my car that runs another 6psi boost: Hondata Review. Here is another review of the same car, same Greddy turbo kit, also swapping from eManage to FlashPro: Secret Services Auto The car is readily repairable by Honda dealers as well as about (80) Hondata dealers and tuning shops located all over the U.S. Comparative Pricing: This item is rare -- both in terms of condition and performance, so cannot be compared with a typical Civic Si. In addition to the $16,185 Kelley Blue Book Private Party Value, the car has +$10,000 worth of professionally installed modifications on top of the blue book value of the car. This car would be an outstanding value at even $thousands above my minimum reserve price. This other car is virtually identical to the one on auction, except that it is using a much louder, but not necessarily more powerful, exhaust -- same Hondata Flashpro engine management, recent maps, same Greddy turbo system, etc. The owner shows ~10psi = 273whp, but that the "Dyno wouldn't read past [7200rpm]... it put down 273 but the graph was still climbing."
