There are very few 2500s around with the 8.1 motor. This truck is in very clean original condition, all the toys, no accident history, and a very fair price. It has pretty fair mileage, runs and drives perfect and needs nothing. This is a solid hard to find vehicle with a very long haul yet to go! exterior This paint on this truck is excellent with very little wear for the age and mileage. It has excellent gloss and has been waxed regularly. The paint and body looks very much original, all lining up straight, no overspray, nothing mismatched, all nice and tidy. Autocheck does show it being sold at auction as Frame/unibody damage, but there's no accidents reported on Autocheck OR Carfax. Sometimes when vehicles are repossessed, the fleet companies will not guarantee their vehicles at auction simply because they don't want them coming back because some dealer had buyers remorse. We'd be happy to put it on a lift for you to inspect, it all looks very much original outside and underneath, no damage. There's no damage about the exterior at all. It's not brand new but for a 7 year old 4x4 suv it's quite clean. The tires have nice tread, windshield is good, no cracks or bad chips, has normal pitting. Our cost is $125 if you'd like a new one. The cladding is all pretty nice, very little to complain about at all. There's a nick in the right front fender and a scratchy spot in the center of the hood. There are no other blemishes notable at all. We have some touch up paint on order and will go over those front scratches with a fine touch before delivery. There is some light road wear on the front end trim, but hasn't spent its' life on dirt roads, it's seen mostly freeway driving. The photos should show the truck. The darn thing is beautiful! interior The interior is good overall. It doesn't smell like smoke, but it has had more than one owner. I'm picky and I also know it's a deal breaker for some people, I don't smell anything. We've detailed the truck and it dissipates more daily. The leather is in pretty good shape, little in/out wear on the front seat bolsters which is common. The carpet looks good, lightly discolored as with any SUV, dash, doors, headliner, etc, all quite nice. Everything works as well apart from the telescoping function of the power mirrors. They NEVER EVER work on these. The up/down/pan function of the mirrors work fine, but only the left mirror telescopes with the switch. If you've found another Avalanche with these mirrors, they're either brand new and work, or don't simply put. Apart from a little wear and tear, it's all beautiful! These Avalanches are awesome. If I'm not mistaken that back window comes out and the whole back folds down creating a 'full' pickup bed with the rear space; best of both worlds! mechanical This vehicle runs and drives excellent and has been well kept. We've inspected, serviced and detailed it and it's ready to ride cross country. The motor is very strong and super powerful, truck is down right quick and I'm sure it's torquey enough to pull whatever trailer you've got. The brakes up front were over 60% life and rears have a long ways to go yet. We changed the oil and filter. There's no wet leaks, odd noises or problems in the drive at all. Clearly the owners loved the vehicle, it came in just as you see it. We recently had someone drop by with an 04 K2500 HD with the 8.1 motor and his truck had over 250k miles still running nice. They're really quite durable, just like the old 454s but with significantly more power and reasonable fuel economy. (As long as you don't have 'leadfoot'.) Fly in and drive home!
