You're looking at a 2001 F-550 XL Cab and chassis that was a trade-in at a new car dealership. The title is a clean and clear in-hand Mississippi title and is a one owner. A small 3 man operation used this truck to sevice and install pumps and convenient stores and was was well maintained. When you look at the truck it is quite obvious it was not a large fleet company that abused the truck. It has a 7.3L Powerstroke V8 that doesn't work, however it is still under the hood. Do not know why the motor doesn't work, the previous owner that traded it in simply told us that the motor didn't work. We couldn't try to start the truck because the starter is uninstalled sitting in the cab and it is missing the batteries. The frame of the truck is in great shape as well as the cab. The seat is ripped on the driver side from someone climbing in and out of it, the windshield is cracked, and there is a small patch of rust on the front bumper (surface only and very common on these painted ford bumpers), but those are the only imperfections on the cab. You can see how minimal the rust on the bumper is in the picture below, it is only on the surface and could easily be sanded and repainted. Truck has: The Truck measurements are as follows. Total wheelbase- 165" From back of cab to center of axle - 82" From back of cab to end of frame 132" 7.3L V8 Powerstroke (non working) I guess the motor is NOT locked up as you can turn the fan with your hand, but i can not promise this. 6 speed manual transmission (Reverse+Low-Drive) Tilt steering, cruise control, AM/FM/Cassette, manual windows and locks, rubber floor, and running boards. Truck needs some work, but there is plenty of room for money to be made with it or have a cheap 2 ton truck. Also if you've wrecked your truck and the motor is still good, this would save you A LOT of money just swapping the motors instead of getting a whole new truck. Thanks for looking.
