This car is in good shape generally. There is in fact no rust or corrosion of any sort on the car. The body hasn't any dents or damage and the paint is good and only needs buffing to be excellent. The exterior is silver and the interior black. The car has done 185,523 miles - 130,000 under our stewardship. It still starts immediately, hot or cold and does not use oil between changes. The charging and cooling systems work perfectly. I have just fitted a new battery. The interior although worn, is in good shape - no cracks on panel etc. I am sure one could get into this car, fill her up and drive to California, trouble free. Parts fitted recently: New front struts New front bushings New front brake rotors & pads New exhaust sytem (outlet is ugly) New radiator in 2005 Now for the problems - all of them! The automatic change down from 4th to 3rd is notchy but not the up change. Due to this and the very high ratio of 3rd gear, I only use that in and around town and 4th on major and open roads. It has been like this for 5 years. The airconditioning is inoperative. I bought and installed a new compressor but did not complete the job as the panel control would not select cold. There is a leak of power steering fluid on the left side of the steering rack. The brake lights stopped working and the Alfa parts people have the switch on back order. The tire of the run flat spare was damaged by the tire shop, when changing tires and I am waiting for Tire Rack to get stock of their $30 tire. This is a great buy for someone wanting a high performance car that looks good, and who is willing to put in a little work. It really is a nice car. There is no reserve on this auction and the opening bid is a low $600. This vehicle is being sold as is where is with no warranties offered or implied.
