This is a 1972 Buick Skylark GS with a GSX package. This is a new restoration with a custom paint job. The paint is 2001 Corvette Yellow with silver pearl and a clearcoat with orange pearl. It has black GSX stripes with a true(realistic)flame job. This beautiful car has all new interior with GSX prototype door emblems. It has a hood tach and front and rear spoilers. The engine is a Buick 350 (original) with minimal work done on it. I have replaced all belts and hoses and the intake gasket. I also put in a perlux iginitor in the points distributor. It has a new starter and a new powerbooster and a lot of chrome. It has new cooper cobra tires with the original rims (14 inch) and center caps. This car has no A/C but has tilt wheel and floor shifter. It was not born a floor shift. I added bucket seats. The car runs and drives real good but the speedometer is off about 30 miles and the floor shifter needs the chrome t-bar top and bottom. Upon takeoff it grabs a bit then goes smooth and drives good. (Hanging between drive and low due to shifter cable needing adjusted). TRANSMISSION NOT BAD!!! I have had the brakes redone and they are the original 4-wheel drums and the fluid is good after initial take-off is runs smooth and no problems. Most of the chrome on this car is new. It has two recent boo-boo's one on the roof (hail type dent) and a few chipped places one on the rear drivers side quarter panel and one one the drivers door and on the rear window near chrome. The carberator has been overhauled and it has new exhaust and u-joints. There is fiberglass deteration on the rear passenger side fender well where the chrome wheel well trim is at but no thru rust that has not been repaired.
