It’s a rare white and red interior. Many of the handles and trim have been replaced with new pieces, so the car shows very well and is a trophy winner. There is a 10 disc CD changer and custom speaker system in the rear and dual cone speaker in front. Hot Rod Air provides the air conditioning and heat. There are electric windows. The engine is a rebuilt 350. (approx. 1980 vintage with 0010 block casting and 194 heads). There is a mild cam, ceramic coated headers, polished intake and a newly installed National Carburettors rebuilt Quadrajet. Pertronics ignition. A BeCool aluminum rad keeps things cool along with a stock clutch fan and dual electric fans on thermostat if needed. New stock style mufflers and tips. Power steering is included. The front suspension is solid and was re-aligned this year with no problems. The 350 automatic transmission has also been rebuilt. The brakes have new shoes in front (backs near new). The wheel cylinders have been changed along with steel lines and a new dual master cylinder. The biggest plus is a recently rebuilt rear end assembly including pro rebuilt trailing arms by Vansteel, all new bushings and links, and a rebuilt differential (3.36 gears). All 6 u-joints are new. No worries in future about the rear end! The wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust 17 X 7 with locks. The tires are new Nitto NT555 245/45 ZR17. The car was re-painted in 2002. The paint still shows extremely well as the pictures show, but there are some flaws and several small cracks in the fibreglass in the usual spots. Someone bumped the left rear and there is a crack at the body seam there, but not too noticeable unless you look closer. The odometer shows 59,200 miles, but I don’t know how accurate it is with the tranny change. Probably close though, as the car is quite solid. The bumpers look O.K. in the pictures, but could use a re-chroming to be perfect. This car is a blast to drive. Fast and corners like it’s on rails, but unfortunately, circumstances have changed, so I’m going to let it go.
