What is up for auction is a 1988 Mustang GT with a 302 that has a 306 cam. I have had this car for about six months and was intending on using it as a project car. It has a lot of power, but still has factory exhaust which has gone bad and leaks everywhere and feels like the cats our clogged up. Also about two weeks ago the fuel pump went out. These are all easy things to fix I just don't have the time I have a four month old son and planning to go back home after my term with the USMC is up at the end of next year and need the money to put down on a house. The car itself is in pretty good shape for being a 1988 and originally was a California car so being in Arizona it doesn't have the major rust that is common on this year mustang. The interior has been stripped so the weight on this vehicle is around 2,000 lbs with a full tank of gas. It does have the factory wheels and the passenger rear has a slow leak in due to a bend on the inside of the wheel that is an easy fix. A lot of work on this car is easy if you have a place to work on it. I currently do not and when I go back home I will have a garage to do this type of work just don't have the money with saving up for a house to put into it and also take it back to Kansas in a year.
