You are bidding on an All Original 1971 AMC Javelin SST with 6,750 Actual Miles, NOT miles since rebuild or paint or any of the other things people say to glorify their mileage. This Javelin is from my private collection. It is clean and dry and includes much of its original documentation. Equipped with a 304 cubic inch engine and auto trans, this Javelin makes a solid foundation for a pro-touring muscle car or is a great cruiser to take you back in time. As you can see from the pictures, this car has been babied since new. While in my care, it has NEVER been driven in rain or foul weather and has ALWAYS been stored in a climate controlled garage. Based on the overall quality of the body, undercarriage, weather stripping and trim pieces, I would also venture to say that this vehicle has never been driven in snow or foul weather by previous owners. (based on the paperwork that is included with this car I believe I am its 4th owner) The exterior of this Javelin is in near new condition and there are ZERO dents or dings in the sheet metal and the original paint shows only a handful of small stone chips. The emblems and trim are also in perfect condition with the exception of the grill and tail light bulls eyes. The grill emblem has fallen off due to age of the glue attaching it, but I do have the original emblem…it is included with the car also the red ring on the rear tail lamp bulls eye has faded but a New Old Stock emblem is included with the car. There is ABSOLUTELY NO, ZERO, NONE,… I MEAN NOT ANY ROT ON THIS vehicle whatsoever. It has all original sheet metal and 100% original paint. The wheels and hubcaps have no damage of any kind and are still wrapped with the ORIGINAL Goodyear twin stripe Polyglass tires and the tires do not show any signs of dry-rot or flat spotting. I have taken this vehicle on a few short cruises and it rides and drives very nice. {usually it stays parked so it doesn’t rack up to many miles} The interior is also in like new condition with NO rips, tears, cracking or wear. The AM radio works as it should as do all the switches and levers for all the dash components/lights. They are in perfect working condition with all of their markings intact, legible and showing zero wear.
