Here we have a very original Chevrolet 1 Ton Truck. Owned by Lincoln County Colorado, as is still legible on the doors. Miles are unknown. The truck is solid, no significant rust, pretty straight. Right side running board is slightly bent, fenders are excellent, but not perfect. Door glass, and back glass is gone, front has a crack. All Flat Glass. Truck has always been indoors. No idea when it was last driven, there is still a 1948 colorado license plate on it. The engine turns, original hand crank with it, fuel pump is gone. The mechanical brakes work. The grille is super straight, no bends or dings, even the chevy bow tie is still nice. Beautiful radiator and headlights. Still has the single tail light, but the lens is gone. Still has 5 of the 6 original tires, and all hold air except for the front right has a slow leak. The gauges are in the nice original dash, except the speedometer is gone. Original wood is good for its age. Doors open and close nicely. Original blue paint with "Lincoln County" still legible on both doors. I don't know which bed it had, but there is now a beautiful cherry bed that was nicely done. The cherry is over 50 years old, and is incredible. Has not been stained or sealed, but not disturbed. It looks as if it was just planed. I am sorry that the pictures don't show more, if you ask, and show sincere interest, I can get more pictures if you request. Front bumper is not original, it is very heavy, although I think I may have the original. In fact the cab is full of odd parts, don't know for sure what is in there... Make no mistake, this truck will need work, but it is truly a find in this condition...I hope i look as good at 78 years old. I have a clear title.
