Up for auction is a 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner that was factory supplied with a 340, and a 4 speed. In the car now is a very good running 318, and a automatic transmission. The original motor is long gone, but there was only 956 Roadrunners made in 73 with the 340/ 4 speed combination, which makes it pretty rare! The car is a great daily driver right now, as she has a strong running 318, that is a turn key car. The car is a RUST free California car, that was painted within the last year, and had the new stripes put on her also after being painted. The car also has power steering and power disc brakes too. The build tag is still under the hood, and shows this to be a true 4 speed car. The clutch pedal and assembly is all still in place and the manual trans could be put back into this vehicle very easily, and I WILL INCLUDE A 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION ALSO, but it would need to be rebuilt. The car will speak for itself, and I'm selling the car with NO RESERVE, and the car will go to the high bidder!!! These are a few, and the pic will show the rest. INFO: On the back window is a etching of the Roadrunner chasing Wiley Coyote who has on rocket skates. ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is a very good running 318 that starts right up, and runs smooth. She has a 4 barrel intake with a performance carb on her! The car has dual exhaust, power steering, power disc brakes, and she runs nice and cool here in hot Las Vegas. She is a turn key car, and is a daily driver quality. The transmission is a smooth shifting automatic, that is sealed up nice and tight with no drips under her. The transmission is shifted with a B&M shifter that works just fine. FYI.. The clutch pedal is under the carpet, and the hardware was left in place for the clutch pedal assembly also. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is the area that needs some work on this car. The dash pad is cracked and needs to be replaced. The carpet is good, the lower door panels are good but, the upper door panels on both sides needs to be replaced. The upper rear panels show wear and need to be replaced also. The car needs a headliner also. Now, for the seats.. it needs new seat upholstery front and back, and to be safe you will need new foam front and rear also. The car originally had a 4 speed console that has been lost over the years also. Now for some good stuff.. the blinkers work, speedo works, and all of the gauges work except the temp gauge which just quit so my guess is a temperature sending unit. The beep-beep horn is still there but she is not working right now. Windows roll up and down, door weatherstripping is good, window felt is bad, and the roof weatherstripping is decent overall. The 4 speed hump is still present and in great condition, and the brackets for the 4 speed console are still there too. The exterior is nice overall with good paint, few small dings/dents, and a few small chips from rocks, like I said a daily driver. The bumpers are ok with scratches and normal wear. Chrome is in ok shape all around the car, I believe it's the original stuff. The tires/ rims are new with about 1000 miles on them. The trunk is great with NO RUST issues at all!! The floor pans look great, and the underside looks good front to back. No rust in the doors, fenders, or quarters in this car. The glass is good on the car with no cracks. INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 37 years old also. Please know this before bidding. I take pride in delivering this car as it was advertised.
