1973 Ford Gran Torino Sport fastback, 70864mi, 351cid automatic, 100% original and untouched top to bottom, NO bodywork, paintwork, or other amatuer restoration like most every other one out there, this car was hand picked, by me, for a complete resto project because of how straight and complete it all was, I drove it over 6hrs home at 70mph personally, drives like 1973 1/2.....Runs nice (still has old plugs, wires, fuel, etc,) brakes, suspension, lights, and just general driving condition is excellent. Smooth as silk at any speed. Steers with 1 finger, brakes with 1 toe, and starts with one quick turn. Underside is perfect, floorboards/frame perfect, no repairs ever (see pics) Does need patch panels right behind the rear wheels, easy patch drivers (hole, 2-3", solid around it) pass. side needs the bigger patch. Door bottoms will need repair also, shame because they close and fit perfectly... Other than that, a few small places, easily welded shut, not a rust bucket, everything is rock solid, and straight. Paint is original, was wet, so it's not that shiny dry. All glass is perfect, trim is 99.9% perfect, still has the factory Magnum 500's (and spare) . Trunk floor is good, needs some patch on the outer/quarters---And a spot on the drivers inner door jam, again solid around the hole, easy fix....I just want everyone to be very clear about what is nice, and what will need attention, (which is ALL outlined right here) Has the sport dash, tach built in, off white/tan interier, needs refurbished, but original, and not too bad (see pics) Motor has no noises or leaks, very nice running smallblock, tranny shifts perfect, no vibrations or noises, no excessive road noise, weatherstrip is good, CAR IS TIGHT!! I'd trust this Ford to take off across the county (might throw a set of plugs/wires/filter at it..)(I drove it around town today in fact) it really is a smooth, tight original ride---Clear WI title---Take a look, ask me any questions, Thanks---No way of telling for sure,(I bought it from an estate sale, orig. owner as far as I know) but I'd bet money thats 70k orig. miles, car is like a time warp back to 73'...
