Unbelievable pristine condition 2-owner (Wa. state) Mercedes Benz Roadster. Both the Hardtop and Softtop in excellent condition. Garage kept it's whole 27 years. Non-smoker, all factory original equipment. Everything in this car works. Starting with the original smooth running 3.8L V8, console shift automatic transmission shifts as smooth as the day it was new. Interior is all original and in great condition. (the seats have been re-dyed the original color.) The original dash has no cracks or blemishes of any kind. Both original sun-visors are intact and not bent or ripped, the horn, lights, signals even the key and headlight reminder buzzer are in excellent working order.Original side and rear German glass, the front windshield has been replaced, due to minor rock chip. The original "Becker / Grand Prix" digital AM/FM Cassette player works great as does the factory power antennae. Original Mercedes foam padded carpeting along with original factory Mercedes emblazed floor mats. All the lights and lenses are without cracks or dis-coloration, all original chrome trim and emblems (the mercedes medallion on the front of the hood is missing a little of the blue paint.) Under the hood, has excellent condition hood matting, original fire-wall insulation, all original Mercedes air cleaner, pressurized radiator bottle and the windshield washer resevoir, oh, and the factory windshield washer jets work perfectly and spray evenly. Included in the photographs are copys of the original owners manual and factory touch-up paint in the original factory Mercedes box with the German color of " Hellelfenbein" which translates into English as "Light Ivory"(very popular color in Germany, in fact all German Taxi cabs are, by law, designated this color.) All the original factory chrome, which includes the Front and Rear Bumpers, Door Handles, Mercedes Emblems, 380SL Emblems, Exterior Mirrors, Headlight Trim Rings, Body-side mouldings and Hard-top trim are in flawless original condition.
This Mercedes is worth much more than my listed "Buy Now" price. The condition of this nice car would warrant a retail price of $8000 to $9000, and they are for sale at those prices and the cars are not as nice as mine. I have chosen to liquidate 15 of my nicest hand-picked specialty vehicles by the end of December, at or below my actual cost. Even if this car manages to go the entire 7 day of the auction, I will never sell the car for any lower than the listed "Buy Now" price, as it (the cost) represents a monetary loss for me based on my actual cost of the vehicle.
