For sale is a 1965 Ford Mustang. This car is a perfect daily driver. It runs great as is. The custom paint job is about five years old and a number of body panels were replaced at that time as well. The motor is the original 289 V8 - but the numbers cannot be verified due to wear. The motor was rebuild about 6 years ago and has around 20k miles on it. The interior is all original with the exception that we added an aftermarket stereo and speakers installed in the rear. The original AM radio is still connected to power and the original speaker. The upgraded stereo is a new Alpine CD / iPod ready stereo. There is some minor body damage on the vehicle, dents and dings in the doors and some chipped paint from driving the car. We are the second owners of this car. It was my wife's first car and she has loved it and taken great care of it. Some minor maintenance issues should be addressed by the new owner - as a 45 year-old car a number of the hoses and gaskets need to be replaced eventually. The car is safe to drive as is, but in the long run some parts will inevitably need replaced. The winner will be responsible for securing financing if needed and will also be responsible for shipping / picking up the vehicle. There will be a required $1,000 deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending and full payment via certified funds within 7 days of the auction ending.
