Wait till you see this STUNNING 450 HONDA ! (It looks a lot like a almost Brand New Bike). 450 CC is a GREAT size for a All around bike ...this is a Bike that can do most anything...& Do it well ! ..Not too Big & Not Awkward and Not too Small for most anything ...As you can see she has been in a Nice dry garage the bulk of her Life ! it is just coming out of a Nice dry storage area were she has been for the last 5 years! Please figure all of your shipping expense (I live in Lakewood area,( Los Angeles County) California 90808), Make sure all is OK with your Spouse and Please READ this auction in it's Entirety Long BEFORE Bidding on this Wonderful Motorcycle as it needs some very minor maintenance (the low speed jets cleaned out as detailed below).. A couple of days ago, My Mechanic & I drained the fuel tank put Fresh gas in her, & she Started Right Up !!!! ... and actually Ran fairly Smoothly & idled right down fairly nicely & did "NOT" smoke at all ! . ...As you can see this Beauty looks like a about a year old bike ! The bike will need to have her carbs cleaned out a little (as I think it is just her low speed idle jets are a little clogged with sediment from being in storage ) as it runs & starts a lot better with the choke on. I have a workshop manual for this bike and everything looks very easy to get to and very uncomplicated so if you have some mechanical skills & a couple of hours you will own a GREAT "World Class" Motorcycle in Exquisite Condition for peanuts ! (basically, I think you will just need to to clean out the low speed idle jet in each of the 2 carbs as over the last 5 years in storage some sediment may have developed in the carb bowls, which is very Normal and expected for a bike coming out of storage and back into service again) ... for anyone that knows anything about engines ...I am sure you already realize how simple a job this is.... We recently lost the Bulk of our storage here and I need to find a home for this Magnificent Motorcycle as soon as Possible. I have (3) 1969 GT 500 Shelby Mustang Clones that are just coming back from paint are worth close to $100,000.00 that I do not want take myself or my Mechanic off of ...So needless to say my loss will be your gain. My Wife said we should contact some museums & see if they would want to own this as it looks AMAZING ! The Gear box and Clutch are working fine all of her lights blinkers etc appear to be working good as well. I have the two rear view mirrors & they are also like new as well... I just bought a Good Battery for her... & I have what looks to be two complete sets of Original HONDA Key sets ! So she is ready to Go other than just cleaning out the sediment in the low speed carb jets... She has been in storage for about 5 years (in a Nice Dry Garage !) & has Obviously it should be easy to see this Beauty has always been stored in a Nice dry Garage for almost all of her life ! (she only just Barely has Only 14K miles ! ! ! ! ! ... She's just a Baby !) It may be good to run some carb cleaner thur her etc as I think the carbs may have a little sediment in her ...So basically this bike looks to be ready to go other than the very Minor minor issue of what appears to be just cleaning out each of the 2 carbs low speed idle jet ...for anyone with any kind of mechanical skills I am sure you already realize how minor an issue this is...So hopefully hopefully you will have some skills to bring to the table to help bring this Sweet Bike back into service. As that is the only issue I am finding so far with Her. Again... I was given a Nice Big Thick Workshop / Service Manual for this Wonderful 450 cc NIGHTHAWK Sport Touring Bike. Again, if you buy it at this time the carbs low speed jets may need to be cleaned a little as they may have some sediment ...But, FEAR NOT ..the Engine has good spark, Good Compression Starts & runs fairly well (with the choke pulled out).. The Gentleman I bought her from lost his copy of the signed off title.. I have my bill of sale from him & will give the new owner a bill of sale as well. If you live in California I can set the new owner up with my Auto registration Shop as I have already checked everything out & they said there are about 370 dollars worth of back registration fees due on this as it was last registered in 2006 as per the California DMV Computers as here in California. Therefore, please figure this into your plans with this Wonderful Motorcycle particularly if your plan is to continue using this Beautiful Bike on the streets here in California. These Night Hawks are Great are SUPER FUN Bikes & this particular Bike with her Overall Condition is a Great Find ! Most People Agree these are very use-able SUPER FUN Sport Touring Bike a bike Great for Most anything ! Easy to handle & Nimble & not too big to go around town and Powerful Enough to enjoy a Nice Ride down the Freeway Highway or anywhere you want to take her ! My Cousin Felt for most things his Nighthawk was Far Smoother and Far Easier to drive than either his Harley Sportster or his Full Size Harley FLH. PLEASE NOTE: I have the Price Very Low considering Her Beautiful Condition I have never seen another 450 NIGHTHAWK anywhere near this Nice of Condition !. Other than possibly having to clean out the low speed jets of the Carbs I think all is well with her & I don't think you will see another one of these in this Nice of Condition again. Therefore, If you buy this you are buying a Great Bike that will possibly need to have a little carb cleaning out to do before it is 100% ready to go back into Full service again...as at this point she is just coming out of storage since about 2005 or 06. Other than this "All looks Very Good to me" (& the tail Lights, headlight (hi & lo beam etc ), starter,front & Rear brakes, shifter, clutch, all four turn indicators, etc etc. all seem to be working GREAT but she will need a little more time running her to make sure the carbs are all working as they should be. Other than that I have to tell you most people that see this bike think it is almost Brand New & her STUNNING Candy Red Original factory paint & Bright work Trim + Chrome and Her Magnificent Styling are Nothing Short of AMAZING ! (even all the rubber parts of this bike looks GREAT foot pegs, grips, seat and as you should be able to tell she does not appear that she has ever been in any kind of accident of any kind as she looks AMAZING !
