Vehicle Detail

As luck would have it, as soon as I closed the auction and responded to offers and emails, I received a call from my local buyer indicating his financing fell through. Car is back up for sale! FOR SALE 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible VIN: 1G1YY36U465114241 Kenne Bell 2.6L Intercooled Supercharger (600rwhp/550rwtq @ 10 psi) Low 10 Second Street Car Background I purchased this vehicle in January of 2009 as a completely stock, single owner Corvette with 25,000 miles on the clock. I've spent the past two years modifying this vehicle into the 10 second street/strip machine you see today. The car has only 41,500 original miles, with just over 16,000 trouble free miles on the Kenne Bell 2.6L intercooled supercharger system. This car has had nothing but the best, with all parts installed and tuning performed by either myself, Total Performance Engineering, RPM Transmissions, or Dr. Phil (RoadRebel on Corvette Forum). Make no mistake.... although this car is extremely fast, it’s driven daily when the weather’s nice. I’ve driven this car as far as Las Vegas (1,700+ miles) without so much as a hiccup. A great deal of time was spent working with the aforementioned vendors to come up with a final combination of parts that would provide reliable, stock-like drivability AND tire-shredding performance!! Click on the images above for high resolution pictures. I've put over $30,000 in carefully planned modifications into this car. Check out the timeslip below; this car is fully capable of out running a $120,000+ ZR1 all the way down the strip. This is far and away the fastest, most reliable, and most enjoyable car I've ever owned!! I'm fanatical about my cars. I've changed the oil religiously with Mobil 1 0w40 and K&N Gold filters, and just installed new NGK TR6 plugs, fresh supercharger oil, and a brand new Gates Green Stripe belt within the past 2,000 miles. This car is truly in exceptional condition!! I've filled this web page with all of the information I could think of, so sit back, enjoy, and scroll through the specs and pictures below. While you're reviewing, if you've got a question or would like to see something specific, just send me an email. If you'd prefer, you can also click on the the following link to go directly to the Asking Price and Information section below. Exterior and Interior Pictures This car was super clean when I bought it, but the Z06 rear quarters, Kenne Bell hood, coilovers, and wheels really make it stand out. It looks even better than it performs!! Click on the images above for high resolution pictures. The interior has been treated regularly with Meguiar's products and is in great shape, too!! This past May, it laid down 567rwhp/535rwtq on RPM's Mustang Dyno through the 6L80e automatic transmission. Those numbers would easily eclipse 600rwhp/550rwtq on a non-load bearing Dynojet!! Of course, a dyno is just a tuning tool; the real story is in how a car performs at the track. How does a best of 10.26 @ 135 on a 1.48 60' sound? This car runs consistent 10.3 - 10.4's in the 133-135 range and is capable of walking big slick, trailered race cars all day long. And did I mention it still gets just under 27mpg on the highway? That’s right; 600rwhp and nearly 27mpg!!! Asking Price and Information Having built this car from scratch with the best of everything, I'd planned on keeping this car for a long time. It's exactly what I'd set out to build; a drop dead gorgeous machine capable of handing it to much more expensive cars at the track. However, I've got the bug to go faster, and doing so in this car will require changes I'd rather not make to such a well-sorted out and reliable street car (i.e. rollbar, fuel system, etc).   I have an opportunity to pick up a clean, purpose-built car, so I'm offering this perfect street/strip terror for sale. It'd cost $65,000 to duplicate this build, so the new owner could pick up an amazing looking, dead fast, professionally built, track tested screamer for a fraction of the cost to build. This car is truly one of a kind and will make someone very happy. It always turns heads, whether cruising, racing or at the show. I could talk for hours about this car, so if you have any questions, just shoot me an email. I'd be happy to provide you with any additional information you might need. Thanks for looking!!
