1994 Geo Metro. Great mileage! I drove this car from Mississippi Gulf Coast to South Carolina at 80-85 mph and still got 48 mpg. These cars easily get close to 50 mpg, depending on driving speed and load. This is a very versatile car with the hatchback. I have hauled long pieces of lumber, (and you can see from the photos that it will handle a 4x8 piece of sheetrock (or 2) - plywood is just as easy! (I use padding to not dent the roof). Paint is not pretty, but who cares? As a bonus, I have a complete engine for this car (actually removed from a '96) with wiring harnesses and computer. I will throw this in for the buyer for $150, if desired. The car and engine are both for sale locally, so I reserve the right to pull the listing. The Metro has a new timing belt and 4 good tires (very few miles). The A/C works! Please don't start picking this car apart as if it is a newer, more expensive used car. I have no patience for folks that do that! It is a 1994 Geo Metro with air conditioning and a 5 speed. Buy it if you want a cheap, second car or something to drive to work for just a little gas money. Note - Vehicle is actually located in Summerville, South Carolina (near Charleston). Please don't waste our time if you are expecting a like-new car. If you want something economical to operate, this is it. This vehicle purchase includes a COMPLETE extra engine with starter, carburetor, alternator, wiring harness and computer. I don't think you would want to change the engine in the car, but there it is anyway! Again, this is a work car. The AC, radio and heater work. I have approximately $1600 in the car since purchase.
