This is a 1949 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Hardtop Coupe Futuramic with the original Rocket 303.7 V8 and 4 speed Hydra-Matic transmission!! They only produced 3006! If you have been looking for a cool restoration project, reasonably priced and with a real nice body then take this home now!! There are only 3 areas of through rust on the outside of the body. The 1st is on the lowest part of the body just in front of passenger side quarter panel, 2nd is on the lowest part of the passenger side door, 3rd is 2 small holes in the drivers side rocker between the bottom edge of the door and the trim. The only panels The only panels that need body work are the hood -4 areas, passenger door-1 area, both quarter panels work from the tail light lip edge to a max 8" forward , and there are dents in the front part of the lowest quarter panel molding trim so there may be dents underneath them. There are some areas of rust on the floor please Email me for exact pics. The 3 piece wraparound back glass is perfect and so is the stainless trim!! It has hydraulic power windows (4 of them) & seat! All of the stainless trim is there and perfect, it just needs polished-except for the piece on the top of the quarter, it got hit and broken, it needs replaced. The seats and upholstery are trash but 98% of the interior hard parts are there and usable. Both bumpers need straightened, welded & chromed. There is a key broke off in the deck lid latch & I can't get it open.The guy I bought it from died and the executors couldn't find the air cleaner, carb, radio or radiator. He also had pulled the original motor and trans to put in inside storage to preserve it for restoration. It has been in inside storage ever since I bought it and it is still freed up.
