Up for auction is a 1966 Ford Mustang with a rebuilt 302 and 4 speed transmission. The motor has about 1000 miles on her and the trans was just serviced 3 months ago. The motor runs VERY strong and has no problems breaking the tires loose. The car was just painted 2 months ago and looks great. The car is very solid all the way around and is a great daily driver type car. The car has tons of new items all around, and I will list all those new items in the lower part of the ad. The car is a turn key car, that runs great, stops great, and does not have any rust issues at all!! The car and the pictures will speak for themselves, and there is NO RESERVE on the car!!! VIN/ DATA TAG INFO: 6R07C234452..... 65A/ T/ 26/ 18G/ 73/ 6/ 5 ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is a freshly rebuilt 302 with a mild cam, flat top pistons, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb with electric choke, and everything inside is new. The motor starts right up every time, no knocking, no smoking, and she packs a great punch! The car has a new exhaust system that sounds great with chrome tips poking out of the rear valance. The radiator is brand new, and she runs very cool here in Vegas. the car has a NEW Painless wiring harness under the hood, and under the dash also!! The transmission is a rebuilt top loader 4 speed that shifts great, and you can down shift her any time and go!! The clutch and pressure plate are about a year old and work great! the trans was just serviced alos and doesn't leak a drop of fluid! INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is in very good shape overall, with excellent carpet, no rips or tears in the seats, and the headliner does not have any rips or tears either. The door panels are new, the interior chrome is very good, and the dash bezel is pretty good also. All of the gauges work correctly, and all the lights work too. The blower switch for the blower motor is not working though. Blinkers work just fine on her also. The dash pad is good with no cracks, and all the windows roll up and down just like they should. It has the original glass all the way around the car except, the windshield was replace about a year ago. The weatherstripping is in pretty good shape overall on the car. The exterior was just painted 2 months ago and looks very good. The chrome overall is very good on the car. Door locks both work, and they open and close well. The body lines are good, and there was just a few minor rust bubbles that were repaired prior to being painted. The trunk looks great, and there is a brand new gas tank, sending unit, and gas tank mat back there too. No signs of rust in the trunk area. ( see pic) There was old repairs to both the floor pans, but it was done very well and the floors are solid. The rear pans look great, the shock towers look great, the torque boxes are rust free but, are dented, and the trunk looks great. The car has brand new tires on her too. INFO: The car has a rebuilt front end with new coil springs, new leaf springs, ball joints, shocks, and the brakes were completely overhauled. They have all new hardware, wheel cylinders, shoes, and the car stops in a straight line, and does not pull to either side. This car handles very well for being 44 years old. INFO: The car is a very, very nice daily driver type car. The car is NOT perfect, but it’s 44 years old also. Please know this before bidding.
