2000 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro Ming Blue Exterior Melange Interior Approximately 137,000 Miles This is a private party sale of a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro. This car is fully loaded with an original MSRP just over $46k. This car has a 09/1999 build date and the VIN number is WAUED64B5YN059789. Title is clean and in hand (Arizona title). Car is registered in California, located in Carlsbad (30 mins north of San Diego), with tags paid through September 2011. This car is being sold at NO RESERVE to the highest bidder! You are welcome to come and inspect or test drive the car prior to purchasing or bidding. Complete sale and transfer MUST be complete no later than 12/29/2010. Service History My father bought this car in July of 2004 as an Audi certified pro-owned car with 69k miles. At the time we got a full copy of the car's service history from the dealer. And since we have kept all service records since 2004, that means you will get a copy of the COMPLETE SERVICE HISTORY for this car. It's about 60 pages and includes a record of the date, mileage and service details of every single service this car has had since it was new. Notable recent services: Passed smog test 9/3/2009 @ 127,311 miles New alternator 8/18/2009 @ 127,003 miles New coolant reservoir 7/14/2009 @ 126,320 miles New control arms 3/2/2009 @ 123,166 miles Complete timing belt/water pump service 7/23/08 @ 117,840 miles The car is currently due for an LOF service. I just haven't had time to get it taken care of recently. The local Audi dealer charges about $95. Accident History To the best of my knowledge this car has never been in an accident. I have never had any mechanic say that they thought the car had been in an accident. Aside from some paint work, I don't see any signs of major damage. But I'm not a professional and you are welcome to have the car inspected. Options & Equipment This car is completely loaded. I believe the only options it doesn't have are sun shades and heated seats. Cosmetic Condition: For the age and mileage, this car is in great shape. The photos and videos will do most of the talking in this regard. But I will say that my parents both took good care of this car. We recently had it detailed and the headlights restored and it just looks fabulous. There are surface scratches, small chips or dings in the paint and trim pieces, but nothing out of the ordinary for a car of this age and mileage. The interior is in great shape and the leather is really nice. Cosmetic Flaws: Various surface scratches, several small dings in trim or body panels, paint imperfections, scratch in rear pumper, pitting in front bumper, miscellaneous interior wear, small hole in driver's seat bolster, hole in carpet near gas pedal, missing arm rest cover. Mechanical Condition: The following mechanical flaws are disclosed. I have not recently had the car serviced or inspected so if you have concerns or curiosities regarding the mechanical condition, I would be happy to allow an inspection. Mechanical Flaws: Oil Leak: The car has been parked in our slightly inclined driveway for the past couple of years and since we started parking on the incline, it has leaked oil. We run 0W-30 synthetic which is a very thin oil and eager to escape through any worn seal it can find. My mechanic said the car needs an upper engine re-seal which would cost somewhere around $2,000. Due to the fact that the oil starts to burn off after you drive, you may smell burning oil through the AC if you do not use internal circulation. This problem wasn't that bad when we parked on a flat surface, and there were no oil spots on the ground when the car was parked flat. ABS Light: The ABS light is on intermittently. This has not been diagnosed by a mechanic yet. Rear tires: Worn out and in need of replacement. Spare tire: Rim is bent and does not hold air. Hood suspension cylinder: Does not hold hood up anymore. Keys & Manuals Two original Audi keys are provided as well as all original manuals. Terms of Sale This vehicle is sold "as is" with no warranty whatsoever. This vehicle has mechanical defects, the extent of which is unknown to the seller. Buyer understands and agrees that seller will make the vehicle available during business hours for the duration of the auction for inspection.
