Up for sale is my 1993 5.0 LX Mustang. Car is 100% numbers matching. Engine and drivetrain are 100% unmodified and 100% stock. The car does have a full exhaust consisting of MAC shorties, MAC off road h-pipe, and Flowmaster exhaust. The car sounds great. I still have the original “catted” h-pipe for those who are worried about emissions. The engine has some dress-up items that I’ve added just to enhance the looks but it’s all bolt on stuff that can be taken off no problem. Intake and internals are untouched. MGW shifter has been installed just because a stock Fox shifter feels like $5 joystick. Shifter boot and knob are stock although the knob is brand new. Car has an after market stereo/CD unit which was installed without any drilling of the console. Speakers are still stock and I still have the original radio which can be reinstalled if desired. Some of the pictures show the driver’s seat which has a neoprene seat cover on it. The seat cover is there just to protect the original upholstery. The original upholstery on the driver’s seat looks brand new. All the other seats looks new as seen in the pictures. The car has been lowered and almost every suspension component is new. Springs, struts, shocks, F/R sway bars, control arms, end links, camber plates, steering rack bushings, spring isolators, etc. It drives straight with no shimmy, wandering, or bumpsteer. I still have all the stock suspension pieces and can be returned to stock easily. Car has Saleen SC wheels. I still have the original tires and wheels. Front and rear brakes are new. There was nothing wrong with the old ones other than the fact that they were 17 years old. Car has a new alternator and water pump. Old ones were fine but they were all pitted and ugly looking. Car has new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, hoses, radiator shroud, radiator fan, and serpentine belt. A/C blows cold. Overall, the car is in amazing condition inside and out. I’m often asked who painted it but the overall car still has the original paint. During the spring, I took it to a body shop and had them paint the body side moldings and the areas below the side moldings to get rid of rock chips. After that was done, they applied 3M clear film in those areas to prevent chips from coming back. They also installed and painted a new front bumper cover. The original front bumper had some rock chips and it also had screw holes drilled for a license plate. The new bumper cover has no license plate holes and it’s the good kind that has the word “MUSTANG” stamped in the front. The cheap, knock-off bumpers don’t have the letters on the front. I’ve had the car in a few local car shows and winning an award is pretty easy. Awards come with the car.
