1972 TRIUMPH TR6 MAKES A GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT You are bidding on a 1972 Triumph TR6. This TR6, even though not a restored car, it is very good condition and has had some sprucing up. I purchased this car from a customer that lost his job and couldn't restore the car. There are a lot of new parts on this car that will be addressed in the description. PAINT & BODY WORK Car was fully stripped to bare metal. The driver side floor panel was replaced and the inner and outer rockers replaced. All metal was treated with rust killer and protectorant and then sanded and primed and painted with base coat/clear coat Saphire Blue. STEERING AND SUSPENSION: is good with good rear axle mounts and good tires. UNDER THE HOOD Engine was rebuilt by previous owner and has less than 15,000 miles since build. Oil pressure is great with 80 psi when engine is cold and 55 psi when hot. This car runs and drives great. All new rubber seals and green coolant hoses as original. There is a new Radiator Air Duct Panel. The car has had a complete tune up, oil change and filter, air filters, fuel filter and all fluids, new plugs and wires, new heater control valve and battery BRAKES AND HYDRAULICS The entire brake system has been rebuilt. New Calipers, pads and hardware, shoes, wheel cylinders and hardware, brake hoses and Master Cylinder all new. I installed a new 4 piece clutch assembly, clutch slave cylinder and hose, rebuilt clutch master cylinder. FUEL SYSTEM The fuel tank has been relined and new fuel lines from tank to carbs has been replaced. The carbs have been rebuilt. INTERIOR WORK I have installed new black carpet set and padding, panel kit, dash, door seals, new window scrapers inner and outer, new door pulls new window cranks and door handles. All gauges have been cleaned . New cables and knobs for dash.New transmision tunnel and seals New trunk panel kit. Even though not installed at this moment there will be new sunvisors and seatbelts installed. The seat covers are not new but are nearly perfect, no tears and are the correct 1972 seats. The top is not new but is in pretty good shape with no tears or holes. Correct silver reflective stripe. There is a boot cover but not a new one and not perfect, and a car cover also comes with it, also not new. EXTERIOR New paint, new door mirror, all new rubber new rear light sockets new antena new badges and emblems, crome is clean but there is some pitting. TURN KEY CAR READY TO DRIVE Winning bidder is to pay $1,000.00 deposit by paypal and balance is due within 7 days. Car will be ready for pickup after funds clears. However, if you cannot pick it up right away I will be glad to store it in my shop for up to 30 days.
