This auction is for this 84 MB turbo diesel. I bought this car for my niece and she had a problem with it and has since gotten another car. The mechanic that my niece and sister in law took it to says it needs a fuel injector pump... I do not know if this is true or not, my niece said that when she took it too the shop she had to keep pressing down on the accelerator to get it to go and that it would only go very slow. I know that before I gave it to her it seemed to run good for me (go figure). This car could be a nice first car for someone else if you know anything about these 123 engines as Im told there pretty bulletproof... When I gave the car to my niece she drove it home and the lights, turn signals, windows, worked fine, as well as the gages... The car itself is in pretty rough shape but has a few years left in it I believe. The only reserve I'm putting on this car is the price I can get for it at the salvage yard. The car is being sold as is and buyer will have to pick it up in Madison, Ohio at your expense. I do not think that the car can be driven home at this time. We are selling it because my neice got another car already and I do not have the time to play with it right now as I myself live over two hours away from them. I have been down this road before with a atv I was selling and had a problem with poor bidders... do not waste my time and money please... I would prefer to be paid by paypal or with cash to my neice or sister in law at time of vehicle pick-up no checks will be accepted until cashed and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle removal as I will not be there to assist. If you were to use a car dolly I imagine you would have to disengage or disconnect the drive shaft, I do not know for sure as I have never towed a vehicle this way but was going to to bring it back to my house, I don't have the time to mess with it this winter that is why Im selling it, hopefully someone will get her going and get a few more years out of her... A car hauler/trailer would probally be your best option...
