This Sweet Little,"Old School" Style,223 Inline 6 Powered,2 speed auto trans,1955 Ford Customline,Hot Rod,Is A Pretty Sweet, Fun RideThat Is Priced CHEAP For A Quick Sale!These Mid-fifties Fords Have Always Been The Coolest Cars Cruising The Boulevard! I wanted to make this car look like the cars the kids were driving to school in late 50's.You know the look;Hot Rod Flat Black Paint,A Few Pinstripes,Lowered Front and Back,Wide Whites on Chrome Reversed Wheels,Dual exhaust !!!Today we call these cars "Rat Rods" or "Traditional Rods" but back in the day they were just another Hot Rod that had been built by a High School kid on a part time grocery bagging job budget !!! One thing for sure is they still attract a lot of attention built up this way !!! Here Are The Details; Painted flat blackThe Pinstripes are hand painted .Body is completely shaved.The floors are quite solid.The Engine is a 223 inline 6.I do know that it starts and runs GREAT with no strange noises. Dual Exhaust.The transmission is a 2 Speed automatic and shifts GREAT.We replaced all four Brake Cylinders and the Master Cylinder (a month ago).Car drives nice.Glass is original, small crack on driver vent window.Bumpers are shave (front and rear)The door rubbers will need to be replaced.The interior vinyl and was in the car when I got it. Looks great no rips, but could use some cleaning.The Dash is stock and uncut.The Steering Wheel is stock and the horn even works.Speedometer does work as well as other guages.What it could use;Car pulls when driving on bumpy road/may just need a alignment, but i was gonna change all tie rods to be on the safe side.Could use a new door popper on passenger sideTheir is no trunk latch/ trunk is close with bungee cord (not visible)Someone threw a shopping car on drivers door, light crack on shave.Please remember this car was built with the theme to do it like a young kid would have done it back in the day using used, scrounged and freeby parts whenever possible. It is cool but it is not perfect. It was never intended to be perfect. It is a Rat Rod. There are still things that you can do if you want to improve it. Otherwise you can do what I have done with it in the time I've had it. LOVE IT FOR IT'S PURE GOOD LOOKS, LOVE IT FOR IT'S QUIRKS, DRIVE IT AND HAVE FUN !!!!On the other hand.
