Vehicle Detail
Please find my 1975 Scout II for sale. This is my 10th Scout and this one has tackled the Rubicon. This scout has the typical rust in the fender wells and rocker panels and floor boards. The frame is rust free! The body mounts are extremely solid and rust free on both sides, there is a full welded roll cage. There is an extremely heavy duty swing away tire carrier with accessory rack, gas can holders and hi-lift jack holder. The 345 cubic inch v8 powers two separate alternators and a york style air compressor. There is a air tank between the frame under the rear seat as well as the bumper itself that has a quick connect to run air tools. You can run impact wrenchs at over 100psi all day. There are 4 procomp off road lights and 2 dichronic fog lights, a ramsey 10,000 lb. winch, shift kit. I had the transmission rebuilt 2 years ago and had them adjust the shift kit to very conservative for daily driving. On the swing away tire carrier the tire is actually mounted to a warn locking hub. I have a spare driveshaft and oil pan that come with the scout. It comes with a full soft top and bikini top. With the top off there is a cargo carrier custom built to mount to the fulll roll cage. Normally I run with the doors off, they are on now. They do not have any fabric or covers on the inside, there is also no carpet in the vehicle. I had the exterior body restored 4 years ago when I added the 35" pro comp tires, mickey thompson rims, alpine CD player, 3 amplifiers, polk momo audio 6.5" separates front and rear and two kicker sl7 12" subs in a kicker box behind the rear seat under the accessory rack. It has a spring over axel and trimmed fenders, there is no lift kit! So it drives unbelievably well. There are three optima batteries, two running off one alternator and one of the other for accessories and the stereo. All stereo wiring is Kicker wiring. There are corbeau seats up front with lap belts and shoulder harnesses about a year old. The center console is a diamond plate tool box with the hinges relocated. There is an air horn and axillary electric fan in front of the radiator when off roading, it isn't necessary for daily driving. There are auxillary back up flood lights. There is a body ding on the passanger side from a tire, you can see it in the pictures. Easily fixed. Just the accessories are worth over $5,000 not including the $3,000 of stereo equipment. I drive this truck on the weekends occasionally, just went to home depot today. It fires right up on the first try and runs really well, serious head turner. I had the transfer case rebuilt 4 years ago as well as the differentials. Too many things to list, just a great fun truck! Good luck!
