This beautiful daily driver has just undergone a 2 year restoration. It is an original 5 speed car with a R200 rear. The trans was replaced with a later close ratio 5 speed. The engine has been completely rebuilt by a top notch shop here in Reno. Bored .02 over with new pistons, rings, rod and main bearings. hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel. Head shaved .005 for clean-up. All new seals and gaskets of course. It has just over 900 miles on it. It is all stock and all the smog stuff is on it so if you live where they require it you will be okay. There is'nt any rust on this car. There were a few small areas that were bad so they were completely cut out and new metal welded in place. I spent a few hundred hours on this and prepping the body for paint. It is now straighter than a new car. The paint is "2005 350z chrome aluminum metalic". It has 2 coats of sealer, 3 coats of base color and 2 coats of clear. All with PPG products. It was color sanded between coats and finally polished and after 6 weeks inside it was waxed. The huge fugly crash bumpers were replaced with 240z ones. The tinted, folding mirrors are from a Maxima. The polished wheels are period correct and wrapped with almost new Yokohamas. The interior is original except for the cd player, speakers, headliner and console cover. Seats are still good with no rips. Carpet looks new. The dash has some cracks but you can't see them wth the cover. Windows are tinted 35%. Factoy ac with R34 conversion. Heater valve and all hoses were replaced. Some of the weather stripping was replaced and now it's very quiet on the freeway. Brakes were inspected and although they were still like new the fluid was dirty so I purged the entire system so it stops surprisingly fast and straight. The rear shocks were weak so I replaced them with new gas ones. The steering rack and mustach bar bushings were replaced with polyurethane ones. Clear title in hand. I have documentoin that it was originally purchased in California. Under side of chasis is rust free Windsheilds were removed before paint Front clip was removed before first coats then reassembled before final coats of paint for a consistent color This car is by all definitions a true "Muscle Car" and with it's 182 HP and 2600# weight is capable uf a 15 second 1/4 mile and top speed of 125+mph This is a high performance car and should not be a gift ot your inexperienced teenage driver.
