Fabulous Flat Black 1950 Ford Project Car Own a piece of automotive history... I'm listing this awesome project car on behalf of my dad. Excellent 1950 Ford with a flat black paint job, four doors, a 1968 Mustang 302 4V with many extras. The car has been sitting in the garage for a while and is still in project condition—with lots of potential. He bought the car with a bill of sale and will sell with same. The frame and body are strong and the glass is all original and in good condition. The paint is flat black that has been worn through to base color in spots. Tires are old and need to be replaced. The '68 Mustang 302 with 4 barrel carburetor and automatic transmission starts right up. There is a new timing chain and gear, water pump, radiator, electric fan and transmission fluid cooler. The car has been sitting for quite a while and for some reason hesitates and won't go fast; it also smokes some. The odometer reads 66754, but at that age the mileage is really unknown. The car will work great for customizing. There are a few dings but nothing major. The frame and body are nice and straight. Only a couple of spots of body filler found—and it appears it is for small dents not rust. The right front brake has started grabbing when stopping. The interior is ratrod clean with bedliner floor paint and recycled leather and fabric seat covers. The wiring and trans are mocked up to get the car running. It's a great project car! Easy to pick up for anyone in the DFW area; be sure that you can arrange to have the car picked up- transport is entirely up to you!
