Up for sale is a 1986 Corvette with only 59,140 miles. My father bought this car new on June 18, 1986. I purchased the car from him in October of this year. The paint is in excellent condition with the exception of some peeling clearcoat below the rear license plate bracket. Wheels are in perfect condition with no curb rash or nicks. Tires are practically brand new. Car is completely stock and runs perfect. The only part not original to the car is the power antenna. All interior gauges work as they should. A/C is ice cold. Transmission shifts perfectly. Clutch is tight with no slipping. There are 3 items that need to be addressed. The headlight switch needs to be replaced (about $40 for the part), the passenger door window motor needs to be replaced (about $250 for the part), and the water pump I believe needs to be replaced. As for the interior, The driver's seat is badly worn, mostly from my dad getting into and out of the car. Also it does need a headliner. The car has been here in Florida for the past 14 years. There is one "accident" issue that occurred in March of 1999. My father was heading home one night and a drunk on a BICYCLE rode out in front him. The drunken idiot rolled up the hood into the wind shield. There were a few scratches from this and my father decided to have the top half of the car repainted. I will deliver the car within 200 miles of New Port Richey, Florida for a fee. Beyond that distance the buyer is responsible for shipping. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending via PayPal. Full payment to be made within 7 days of auction ending. I will accept payment in full via PayPal, cash, or money order. If payment made by money order, I will release the vehicle once the moneyorder clears my bank account.
