Up for auction: 1971 Chevelle SS clone 383 stroker with 410 horsepower to the wheels on 92 octane fuel. This car was professionally built and ran on a dyno. There is about 5k miles on the rebuild. The transmission was also rebuilt to handle the additional horsepower, along with a 3.73 gear in the rear. Mechanically everything is in very good shape, and the car runs very strong and sounds amazing! As with most cars of this era there are a few oil seeps but nothing major. The suspension is very tight, and the brakes are in good shape as well. The rims and tires are also in like new condition. The body is very straight and all the panels are all sheet metal. The under-carriage is very clean as well as the trunk floor. This is a very clean example with only a few minor cosmetic issues. There are a few tiny bubbles starting on the rear quarters next to the trunk, but that is the only sign of any kind of corrosion and it is very minor. Overall this malibu is a complete SS CLONE with the exception of the radio. (no radio, but does have speakers) The interior is like new, the carpet and seats were replaced during resto. The speedo is working as well as the odometer, but the speedo makes a little noise while driving. The cable might need to be lubed. I will have my mechanic address this issue.
