kataraxkidd Store Click here to get free auction templates at Auctiva.comA very nice example of a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300CD that has been meticulously maintained by the last owner who actually kept a log of every service & repair, oil change and even every diesel fuel fill up since 2002. Even kept record of his average MPG. It was owned by a Miami University College professor who mainly used to commute back and forth to school. It was always garage kept and the beautiful light blue paint shows it. He said he had never had it painted but I'm sure it has had a respray at some point before him. It has never been involved in any accidents and there are no signs of any rust or dents. The body is very solid and super straight. The engine was replaced Oct 28th 2008 with one that had 111,000 miles on it at a cost of $2000 and I have the receipt. It runs super smooth and powerful and the transmission shifts perfectly as well. Most power features seem to be working properly including ice cold A/C, sunroof, mirrors and power windows except for the rear passenger. The stereo has been upgraded to a Panasonic CD player with CD changer in the trunk. The interior shows Very Nice with only minimal normal wear on the original MB text seats. The carpets, door panels, headliner and dash are also in great condition. There is only one small crack in the dash near the drivers side front A/C vent. The zebrano woograin looks good but does have the usual chips and cracks in the clear. The passenger door window does have scratch marks down the glass. The original wheels look excellent and they have new Michelin Hydro Edge tires on them. Overall this 300CD is in extra nice condition especially for its age and miles.
