Great winter project for someone who knows alittle ( stress LITTLE) about cars. This car has been in storage since 1985. I bought it last spring with intentions on making a family cruiser out of it... somewhere along the way thought about making a sleeper out of it... but in all reality I have done little more then clean it up and look at it. I just dont have the time to put into it and have no idea when I will get around to it... so I'll have to pass this one along to someone else. It does NOT run. You CAN get it to fire up with starting fluid but will not run on its own power. I am sure a new carb and fuel pump are the begining of this project. If nothing else I know it has spark! It needs a muffler just by visual you can see that. THE GOOD Low miles only 48,000 original Very complete SOLID car Very straight car (no evidence of ever being in a crash) Solid floor boards Solid trunk Very nice interior Desirable 2 door hardtop Very little rust new brake lines in the rear Kind of unusual little car... Not a dime a dozen Nova or Falcon THE BAD Doesnt run without starting fluid Has a crack in the windshield sat for 25 years so I am sure everything will have to be checked out before being road worthy again Back bumper is really rough needs a muffler Could use a new paint job... although I have used 1500 grit paper and wet sanded other cars, then I was able to buff a shine back into worse paint then this car has Come take a look before you bid. I dont know much about this car I have fixed up a few old cars in my life and this one seems to be a very easy project for a father-son / daughter winter. The Olds in the background is also listed on Ebay... check out my other auctions. Thanks -DaveOn Dec-11-10 at 13:25:01 PST, seller added the following information: The arm rests are rough, the car has some surface rust, the chrome wheels have some rust, the dash has a tiny crack.... this is not a Pebble Beach show car and this IS Ebay not Barret Jackson this car WILL NEED WORK. The quarter panels had at one point been repaired just behind the wheel wells. The body work is VERY sloppy but a very presenteble "20 footer" as is. I will not BS anyone and say how great the car runs but has no fuel tank. I am trying to be as honest as possible so please ask ANY questions and PLEASE feel free to come see the car before you bid. I cannot list every inch of the car so please come see it. I have seen too many ebay listings NOT representing the car as it is.... Check my feedback I am a honest Ebayer! AND YES, the car has a TITLE you can actually register and drive this car anywhere in the US (again unlike other ebay listings)On Dec-12-10 at 12:55:18 PST, seller added the following information: The car is complete. I was making fun of another ebay auction I saw recently where the seller described his car as "runs and drives great" but later in his ad said it was missing parts including his gas tank (I thought it was funny how his car could run and drive great without a gas tank maybe his son sat under the hood with a bottle while he drive down the street LOL) Sorry for the confusion MY CAR HAS A GAS TANKOn Dec-12-10 at 12:59:15 PST, seller added the following information: Oh and before anyone asks... I DO HAVE THE BACK BUMPER it is just not on the car right now. I took it off as one of the only things I have done to the car back when I first thought I was actually going to fix it up. Like I said it is very rough and I wanted to replace it. If you would like to see it I can send a picture
