Up for auction is my 1998 Volvo V70 AWD XC. Car is in very good condition except for an intermitant transmission problem, see below. for the year the body is in excellent condition as well as interior. Lots of recent mechanical work, and money invested, including timing belt, water pump, brakes, control arms, strut mount etc.... I am on the road sales and put all highway miles on this car. I love this car, but do not have the time or energy to invest and I already have another car. My loss, your gain. Tranmission: Intermitantly goes into nuetral. Drive about 20 min, come to a stop and its in nuetral. Shut car down, let sit for 30 seconds and it's fine until it happens again, no telling when or where. Had to a Volvo dealer and states its one of three things. A. Gear position sensor, B. Tranmission ECU, C. Internal transmission problem. Comes with 4 almost new tires, not mounted yet.
