Vehicle Detail
You'll love the looks, the ride and the power of this 1985 Buick Riviera, and with only 83,200 miles on the odometer, you'll derive many more years of driving pleasure from this elegant automobile. This Riviera is loaded with factory options, including: * Leather/suede seating (top of the line for this year's Riviera) * Electronic Climate Control (A/C blows cold) * Digital Electronic Instrumentation * Delco GM/Bose Music System * Tilt Steering * Passenger electric seatback recliner * Lighted vanity mirror (passenger) * Electric trunk pull-down * Rear-window defogger * GM trunk mat * Carpet savers front and rear * Remote control electric mirrors * Illuminated entry * Automatic power antenna * 2-speed delay windshield wipers * Wire wheelcovers * Cornering Lamps * Twilight Sentinel (works sporadically) Electronic Cruise control--which still works-- was standard on the 1985 Riviera, as were power windows, power door locks, power seats and lighted glove box. The interior of this car is in excellent condition: no tears in the seats, no cracks in the dash, no sagging headliner, still-plush carpeting, power seats that still work properly, power windows that raise and lower as they should. The radio display does not light up, but you can still tune in all the AM and FM stations and even select presets, and the Bose speaker system still sounds awesome. The steering wheel has two small cracks on either side. The rear degogger switch is missing the chrome end cap, though the switch does light up. The trunk is nearly flawless, with the original factory spare still intact. The exterior has a few issues, most notably that the top portion of the car was apparently repainted some years back and is now peeling on the roof, and bubbling on the hood (the latter is hard to show in photos). The front and rear bumper fillers are splitting and warping. Also, there is a slight dent on the driver's side front fender, which has cracked the paint in several places. Other than this dent, the body is in overall excellent condition. The chrome bumpers still look shiny, without pitting, scratches or dents. The wire wheels still look beautiful and all four whitewall tires (matching set) have lots of tread left. There are no noticeable cracks or chips in the windshield. The car runs and drives like a Buick should, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Also included is the original owner's manuals and the wire wheel removal tool. NADA lists the value of a 1985 Buick Riviera coupe as $3809 low retail to $8460 high retail.
