1972 Honda CB

This Honda CB750 was stored 21 years ago in perfect working order. The chrome and paint are dusty but in very nice condition, it will not take much in terms of elbow grease to make it shine again. The gas tank needs to be cleaned inside and the carbs need new kits. The title says 73 but the bike was built in 72. The tires are like new, no dry rot at all. The guys at the shop started the bike off of an umbilical fuel cell. This bike DOES NOT need a full restoration, if you have mechanical ability you could get it back into top condition for a few hundred dollars, maybe less. It only took a few seconds to polish a section of chrome on the rear fender, the original briar brow metallic paint is in excellent condition with the exception of a dime sized ding on the left side of the gas tank. The seat is also nearly perfect except for a small split on the seam maybe 1 1/2 inch long. This will be a very short and rewarding project for some one who has some mechanical ability, if you chose to have the work preformed at a local shop the estimate I got was around $800 for the gas tank, carb cleaning and brake adjustment. I had several people who looked at the bike and absolutely loved it but ultimately passed because I did not have a title at the time and I was selling it with a bill of sale, however I do have a clear title in hand now.
