mercedes 250se 1968, so this makes it very rare. I understand that they made about 50 of these in 1968, so therefore you will find serveral things that are different than the regular 250se. The cover on the cluster is leather, and not wood, like the 280se. It has different door panels and side lights like the 280se. This car is from Arizona so it is rust free. The one that had it before me had it for about 20 years. This is a project that is in progress. As you can see I have invested a lot of money into it already and it is now about complete. I have put everything new in the car and rebuilt all the mechanics. The car runs and drives great. I have removed the wood on the dash and winsheild to be redone. While the dash is open, we rebuilt the wiper system. To finish the car it needs carpets, dash wood done, some upholstry work on the top of the back seat, and the aircondition installed. It has a new compressor that I installed. The brakes were completly rebuilt with new calipers. For about 2500 left you can have a pretty good show car. The engine is a 130 that was rebuilt by mercedes benz about 5 yrs ago. Look at the pictures, they pretty much tell the story.
