1965 Buick Lesabre Convertible Up for auction is a rare 1 owner 1965 Buick LeSabre convertible. It features a 300 ci 4v high performance engine, automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. Engine will start and run. Unknown condition of transmission, brakes, etc. Car is in need of total restoration. Nice original interior. Power top, pump needs rebuilt. All the glass is good. Body is solid throughout. Needs partial lower quarter on passenger side, and new driver side front fender. There are a couple spots of rust in the trunk. This engine used a single two-barrel carburetor and had a 9.0:1 compression ratio. A higher-compression four-barrel "Wildcat 335" version of this engine -- with 250 bhp and 335 pound-feet of torque -- was optionally available. So was Buick's Super Turbine variable-pitch torque converter automatic transmission It is the "high performance" option
