1973 Datsun/Nissan 240Z TRUE barn find, actually better, heated attached garage, and covered. Has not been driven in approx 20 years. Bumpers and chrome trim in exceptional good shape, just clean up. No nicks or dings. It is all there. Same for the trim. Minimal rust locations: Battery box, rusty, but all there no rust thru Foot well/firewall both sides at the rear of the front wheel wells are rusty, but all there. NO rust on the exterior of the body work. The rust is all underneath.!!!! It appears that the owner regularly washed the car to keep it clean, but did not wash underneath. Please note I could find no structural rust damage. The suspension and structural connection points all appear good and solid. The car was at some point, approx. 25-30 years ago was painted metallic burgundy. The original color was lime green/yellow (factory color code#. See photos of the rear spare tire area.) A two piece pop-out aftermarket sun roof was also installed. Mechanically, the car is complete. Nothing stripped. It is all there. Just has not been run in 20 years. IT looks like it was just parked and covered. Tires still have air in them, although they are old and I would not trust them, there is no sun cracking. (this is stored inside an attached garage w/o any weather extremes. Also, NO vermin damage.) I have talked to the owners And was told that this car was just parked, after the purchase of a new car, with the idea of restoring it. That just never happened. If you are looking for a nice, original, all there 240Z to restore this is the project car for you. Again, it is all here.!!!!! With a lot that can be just cleaned up and repainted. All the interior trim pieces are there, except for the radio Dash is cracked and will need to be reworked…………………… Passenger seat need some help, but driver seat is in real good condition, See photos. Interior quilted vinyl is all there and should just be cleaned up. No tears or separations or discoloration.(it IS black) Over time I have gotten to really appreciate the original color. It is just strange / attractive enough to be COOL.!!!!!!!!! REAl mid-century modern.!!!!! The reserve is set reasonably low.!!!! So bid to own this beautiful car.!!!!!
