You are looking at a sweet but, neglected, dried up 1990 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL. As you can see by the photos, this flagship has been neglected, waiting for restoration. The interior leather upholstery is ripped and dried to a crisp. The carpet is very dirty. The floor mats are in the trunk. The front dash looks surprisingly good. Just dirty. The steering wheel looks good. The guages look good. The console between the seats is baked and rotten. The rear dash is pretty good too. Regarding exterior, I was surprised by how little damage was on the body. It's very close to ding free as far as I could tell through the dirt. I blue taped the dings to represent the size of the sheet metal that is affected. The depth of the dings is minimal, 1/16" perhaps to 1/8th inch. Very slight. I have minimal history on this Mercedes so, I can't tell you much. All motor parts appear to be intact and covered with a nice layer of dirt. I have no idea if it runs. The wheels are the original Chrome Mercedes wheels. The tires are rotten and flat. The hood has a few tiny flecs of rust toward the front. The front right headlight is broken. The sunroof is open about 2". Not sure if it works. We don't have a key to vehicle. Title is clean and clear and ready for sale. The windshield has a couple of chips in it that are still small enough to repair. The windows are tinted and in-tact. The bumpers look good other than surface damage, such as rock chips and age. I took a lot of photos but, did not put all on ebay. If you have specific questions that will help me describe better to the ebay community, please let me know.
