For auction is this Porsche 924/ 1980, 4 cylinder engine, automatic transmission. This vehicle is not in a running condition due to a burned out alternator and an electrical problem. I owned the vehicle as a secondary limited use car since 1990,it ran very nice. It has not run since 2004 (hence the low mileage). The body is galvanized, It has a few miner dents and nicks about (I took pictures of the worst ones). I had the front of the car painted years ago but they did a crappy job on the paint since it no longer matches the other panels. The car was not been in any accidents but since it sitting the front hood is no longer closing right. Brake light also stopped working. Since I no longer had interest in the car I did not have it repaired. It has sat outdoor under a car cover since it stopped running. Out door water condensation took its toll wetting the upholstery and a family of chip monks got in for a winter. The rear tire holds air for a short period of time before it goes flat. The aluminum hubs are the original. This car is being auctioned AS IS , I rather see the car sold the way it is in one piece then in parts or scrapped. If you own a vehicle similar to this one you know that the vehicle is worth more in its parts then the opening bid of this auction. Since the vehicle is in tacked it would be great for a restoration project. Winner responsible for local pickup. It will require a flat bed towing from the location.
