1969 Datsun 1600 Roadster with 5 speed manual transmission 93,250mi on the odometer. One owner since 1983 and I have that original California "pink" Title so the blue and gold license plates can continue to be used. The California Registration is currently on a "Non-Op" which places the registration status on hold. All that's needed to optain current registration is to go to the CA DMV with the Title and Bill-Of-Sale, and pay the transfer fees. There are no outstanding registration fees. This Roadster has been stored for a number of years and was last driven in 2007. The engine cranks over and makes instant oil pressure, but I'll leave starting it up to the new owner. The high resolution photos below will give you an accurate idea of the Roadster's condition. It comes with the set of service manuals that you see on the front seat and and the custom car cover. I do have the air cleaner housing, which isn't shown in the engine photos. There is a full set of keys, including the key for the factory locking gas cap. There is also a key for the lugnuts on the period American Racing "Vector" alloy wheels. As you can see, the car has a very rare 3 window hard top, as well as a custom roll bar. By the way, the chrome headlight buckets are not rusted through. What you're seeing there is that both of them just have peeling chrome. This Roadster a full restoration project, as it needs paint and body work, rechroming, upholstery, carpets, weatherstriping, and whatever mechanical work arrises. It will need to be trailered, as it does not run. Please read the entire description closely, and look at all of the photographs. After the auction ends, I expect payment within 72hrs, so make sure you have the funds ready and are able to either show up with the cash in hand, or send cash or a Certified Bank Check via FedEx. No exceptions. If paying by Certified Bank Check, you can have the car after that check clears. Usually that's immediately, but it is still just a check. If paying in person, it's cash only. Please don't bid if you won't be albe to comply with this. I can deliver this anywhere in California for a reasonable fee, but the car and my transport charge would need to be paid for in advance. If you're out of state, I can help with shipping arrangements, but you'd be paying for shipping directly to the shipper, and again, the car needs to be paid for prior to it's transport.
