Vehicle Detail
You are seeing a very well cared for (only one owner car for the last 27 years) 1983 Celica Supra. It is a 2.8 liter with a 4-speed Automatic transmission. It also has LSD and the Power option for shifting. I have spent over $2,000 just on parts over the last few months to fix some oil leaks and do some maintenance. The entire motor and transmission were removed and separated and have been re-sealed and has had new replacements which include Starter, Alternator, fuel filter, Water Pump, spark plug wires, rotor, cap and coil. I still have the original starter and alternator which work great but I wanted to replace them so I was sure this car would be reliable with no worries. Now you have a spare. Just the engine gasket kit from Toyota cost over $500. I also replaced the A/C compressor with a newly rebuilt unit which blows extremely cold air. The interior is perfect and the paint is exceptional. This car was owned by a 75 year old guy which drove it across the country on numerous occasions so there is limited wear and tear and the car and it has been garaged its entire life. There are also brand new tires and all of the fluids including the rear end differential have been changed. The car has absolutely zero leaks and looks amazing. The timing belt, tensioner pulley, tensioner spring, all cam pulley, crank pulley, and all circular main seals have also been replaced at the same time including the front and rear main, the transmission shift/shaft seal and the torque converter seal. The only seals leaking were the cam pulley seals but the other seals were all included in the gasket set from Toyota (except the transmission seals which I purchased in addition to the others) so all of them were replaced just to make sure the motor is in perfect condition. This car runs and drives beautifully and has absolutely no rust or blemishes at all. In the interior I replaced the blower fan underneath the glove box due to a faulty fan motor and replaced the original stereo with a brand new unit which included hands free for your cell phone which also has been installed. I also replaced the old speakers to give the car a little better sound. The car has just over 92,000 miles and is ready for the next 90k. You will be more impressed when you see this car in person as it a true unmolested classic that you will be able to enjoy for years to come. Thanks for your interest and good luck with the purchase of this vehicle. Buyer must pay $500 down after winning this auction and must pay balance within 7 days of winning bid. Cash, Cashiers Check or Bank Wire are the accepted forms of payment. Note added 11/29: I had an email stating that in the instrument cluster photo it looked like a "1" was next to the 9 on the odometer. That is a zero. There is a shadow there that does not show the entire number. I can assure you that this car has the miles listed and not 100,000 more... If you look at the vehicle report you can see when I smogged it that there was the correct mileage. Just wanted to clear this up as I didn't notice the shadow when I posted the pictures. I would be happy to send a confirmation photo to anyone that is interested in this vehicle. Thanks
