Vehicle Detail
Here I have a 1977 cb750 Hondamatic. Ran great when parked. I haven't driven it in a year or two. It runs but needs fresh gas and probably a carb cleaning. Automatic trans runs well. Idles rough now due to the old gas but purred when I had it. Has a Vetter WIndjammer fairing with CB radio, volmeter, ampermeter and cigarette lighter. The light bar and front fairing lights are controlled by manual switches so not to waste the battery when starting the bike. Full touring set is from a Goldwing, I believe. Trunk lid needs a weather strip. Front caliper is polished but will come with 3 extra calipers if you want to go back to factory style. will need a flush and bleed as it has tightened up a bit. Tires are almost new with about 200 miles on them. Almost no rust I can really find. some surface here and there. Comes with manual kick starter which are always hard to find! Rebuilt rear brake assembly recently. Paint is pretty good but looks like the luggage is from a can...not a bad job, though. a little paint wrinking near the gas cap lid but not rust. Seat has some splits in the seams and some tape but still looks not bad. Has an upgraded kick stand. Because of the different size, there is some sort of modification to the exhaust as seen in the picture. Besides that, it is a pretty nice bike. Needs some odds and ends but after the gas, cleaning and a good onceover, should be a great cruiser. Sold as is in Hillsdale, NJ for pickup. No reserve! On Nov-28-10 at 09:20:01 PST, seller added the following information: **** Along with the three extra calipers, you will also get two spare master cylinders, the original kick stand with linkage and what seems to be the original exhaust pipe parts. More bits to follow during the auction as I am cleaning out and downsizing my shop space ****
