Welds are are precise and perfectly laid all around, and the frame itself is such an incredible piece of craftsmanship it seems a shame that you can't see it all the time!
A Fat Man's style MUSTANG II front end sports adjustable dual coilovers and modern steering set up that has all been painted to match.
Rear suspension is adjustable coilovers as well, with ladder bars, and has been painted to match along with the rear axle housing assembly.
A Ford 9" rear from a Lincoln houses 3.23 gears according to the prior owner, and the custom balanced drive shaft mounts it all to a completely rebuilt GM 350 Turbo Transmission that has a very mild shift kit installed.
A LOKAR shifter with chrome long handle gets it into gear from the cab, and transfers power seamlessly from the incredible engine!
The motor on the truck is a GM 350ci V8 that was completely stripped to the core and rebuilt using some of the best components to be a reliable and trouble free daily driver!

There are literally pages and pages of receipts and documentation to substantiate these items, and it all comes with the car!
Four wheel dic brakes at all four corners bring the truck to standstill with ease, without any odd modulation or pulling. They are clean, solid, and have plenty of pad life remaining.
The whole underside is finished nicely, but does show its share of marks, dirt, and grime from being driven for just over 6,400 miles. Keep in mind that I have NOT detailed this truck, and I am sure that if you put it on a rack, and spent some time cleaning it up, it would look fantastic!
The truck was a LONG HAULER on the Hot Rod Power Tour, and did over 2,500 miles that year alone!
It never failed, broke, or left anyone stranded, and is simply one of the best built, easiest to drive, and incredibly reliable street rods I have ever had the pleasure to operate!
The multiple folders filled with paperwork and receipts for this car is included and will go to the new owner.
The final build tape that is in the paperwork shows the total for parts and labor to be $78,544.00 and that DOES NOT INCLUDE the cost of the original truck, a FORD motor that was installed and then removed to make room for the more reliable GM engine, and about $7,000 in upgrades and maintenance receipts that are more recent!!!

Back to the chassis.....
The chassis is set on the stiffest rear setting and medium front, to provide an exceptional highway ride. It is easy to adjust it if you are more of an in-town cruiser and want a lower stance.
Handling is very sports car like, and it has a great road feel with a point-it-where-you-want-to-go feeling at speed.
The early Ford banjo steering wheel is equipped with a fold down suicide ball, but I have never used it as the truck steers so well you don't need it.
The truck starts, warm or cold, with just a tap of the gas pedal and a turn of the key. Idle is steady and clean, and the truck has been ready to drive without a hitch or burble every single time I have got behind the wheel.
Power is smooth and silky, and with the highway gears and a mild shift kit, it comes on like you were driving a mustang GT.
No stutter, hiccup, or flat spots to be found thanks to a professionally tuned motor, carb, and intake.
The exhaust has a nice mellow rumble, and will bark just a little under full throttle, but is about as loud as a GT mustang or Corvette while you are driving down the highway.
Tranny shifts smoothly in all speeds up or down, and the kickdown function performs fault free as well.
Engine runs about 185 degrees, and that was even with the air conditioning on in beach traffic! I personally have not seen it go over 195, and there is no evidence to show it has overheated in the past.
Overall, the chassis of this truck was a well designed and executed unit that is the perfect base for this incredible machine.
INTERIOR
When you open up the suicide doors on this Street Machine, you will see one of the cleanest and well done interiors you can imagine!
A mix between old school charm, and new school materials and design, the interior shows incredibly well, and has no real issues to address at all!
A combination of pearl grey hide and doeskin combine to create a flowing look that contrasts perfectly with the exterior, and invites you in to take a drive!
The power bench seat is equipped with a flip fold armrest and has the requisite Ford logo displayed. It is on a custom cut down frame that provides ample headroom even with the 3" chop.
I am 5'11" tall and there is about 4" of room above my noggin, so I think it is safe to say that someone 6'3" should be able to sit comfortably without hunching over.
Clearance between the steering wheel and seatback is ample, as my 250lb of Budweiser enjoying self can slip easily in and out of the truck!
Door panels are trimmed to match, and have armrests and chromed original style door pulls.
The truck has a fully finished interior, with trimmed kick panels, full carpet, a-pillar trim, full headliner with backing board, and a custom overhead console.
Carpeting is in exceptional condition, and is protected by floormats that show well too!
The console houses JVC KD-SX990 AM/FM/CD/MP3 and iPod capable deck with twin rear mounted Pioneer 6.5" three way speakers. The stereo sounds AMAZING, and is the only thing you could ever want to hear besides this trucks incredibly mellow exhaust note!
High mount power window switches are out of the way, yet easy to activate, and have the GM factory style control to keep you from shutting the window unless the door is shut!
Dash and exposed metal trim is all painted to match the exterior of the truck.
