You are bidding on a 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye Sport. This car is a 100% numbers matching car, well documented. I have the original bill sheet and original window sticker. I also have the two original service manuals in very nice shape. The car was bought from a Dodge Dealer in Rome, New York. I believe I am the third owner. I have too many documents to mention from the original purchase such as the original bill of sales, maintainence schedule, all the advertisments & brochures that came with the car back in 73, the original owner drivers license, etc. This is a true 1973 Dodge Rallye Challenger in nice shape, a very solid car. Keep in mind this car is almost 40 years old, it is not in perfect condition. As you will see in the pictures, it will need a new driver bench seat. I was going to buy a whole new interior but the gentleman that was going to put it in for me told me it was worth more with the original interior and should get the original seat sewn, which I never got to do. The car has Dodge red paint on it the right color for that year, and a new interior black rug. It has all the original molding, bumper extensions, mags, candy rings, spare tire mag, and tire jack. I also have the original radio which will come with the car, it has an upgraded CD player in it right now. I also have chrome valve covers on the car which the winner will also get the original valve covers. The car comes with a high performance 340 4-barrel, the 4 barrel carburator and motor are all numbers matching as is the transmission and the rear. The vinyl top for the most part in in very nice shape, dose shows some wear around the bottom of the rear window - 2 small holes, not real noticeable but want to let you know. I have taken this car to numerous shows and have won my share of trophies. The biggest thing this car has going for it is that it is a Rallye car with a 340 high performance motor, three speed automatic slap stick car, also has all it's original sheet metal, and with all the documentation that will come with the car. All the documents are in a notebook and well preserved. There were only 6,480 of these cars made. The car is a very solid car. The car was appraised by the Pennsylvania Antique Car Association at $24,000. I will give you the breakdown of the VIN# and firewall tag#.
