SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICS. 1987 Ford Mustang Convertible with 5.0 Liter V8 Engine. Clear title. Good frame. Original engine with 166k original miles and still runs strong. Original interior and exterior. Automatic transmission, power windows, power doorlocks, tilt-wheel, deluxe cassette stereo with equalizer, power convertible top, aluminum wheels, Flowmaster exhaust, chrome exhaust tips, Viper vehicle alarm system with keyless entry and motion detectors – delivers warning signal or alarm if anyone tries to enter or reach into car when top is down. Well maintained, many parts newly replaced, runs great, has cosmetic wear (as pictured), and some minor issues (listed below). Repaired/Replaced: Convertible Top: Replaced new in 2005, including mechanical parts, top motor, and rear glass window. Exhaust: Completely replaced in 2006 - Dual Flowmaster Exhaust Mufflers and High Flow Catalytic Converters .The original four catalytic-converter system replaced with two (one each side) High Flow Catalytic Converters professionally installed with stainless steel tubing. Completely Califronia Legal, PASSES California Smog Emission. (Has passed smog twice in past four years no problem. Fuel Pump: Replaced in 2008. Shocks: All four completely replaced in 2008. Motor Mounts: Replaced in 2008. Brakes and Rotors: replaced in 2008. Battery: replaced in 2010. Starter: replaced in 2010. Front Seats: Original Mustang LX front seats replaced in 2008 with Mustang GT Sport seats. Automatic Transmission: rebuilt in 2003. Heater Core: replaced in 2003 Needed repairs: Reverse Light: Left rear “reverse” light cover broken (seen pictured) Air Conditioner: Works, needs freon re-charge. Heater: Works, needs new heater core hose (one of the small ones located at the top of the engine, fairly easy to reach and replace. Passenger Side Door: sags, needs door hinge pin replaced. Driver side has already been replaced. Passenger Side Door: outer door handle broken. Front Bumper: left and right corner dings/chips. Viper Vehicle Alarm System & Killswitch: disconnected, siren removed, needs keychain remote. (Car is wired with alarm, operates flashing head & tail lights with keyless doorlocks. However, alarm was disconnected from operation in 2003… lost keychain remote and needed to jump start, couldn’t get car jumped unless completely disconnected alarm system, the alarm has been disconnected since then and I am unsure about its operation.) Electrical wiring/ driver side fusebox cover: effects rear quarter windows and horn, everything else is fine. Its been like this since alarm was disconnected. Has its share of wear, tear, dings, and dents, but runs strong and handles good, and most of the major restoration has already been done. Please read auction terms and ask questions prior to bidding.
