Vehicle Detail
This is a very clean 1977 F-150 Ranger 4x4 with a 6" lift and 35" tires that are in nice shape! TONS of new parts, the truck was taken down to the frame 90% and redone using grade 8 bolts in most applications. Both bumpers and chrome look really nice, metal is 100% good with no rust at all. The bed is 100% solid with out rust holes and has professional metal installed over the wood panels, no hack job it looks professionally rolled in the complete bed (No diamond plate, real nice painted metal). You would never know the truck was not sold with the bed that way new. 4x4 is new & works perfect & the truck runs great! It has a top built 400m with lots of torque and nice power for driving on the highway at 70mph. The truck is 90% restored, just ready to be taken the other 10%....could be awesome in a weekend! I am the second owner of the truck, the origioanl owner parked it inside his shop with 69K actual miles and then ran it outside the last two years before I bought it! Just last year I was offered $2500 for just the bed alone because it was perfect and they are hard to find this perfect. Some people have to put beds from 80's trucks on them because the originals are rare to find with no rust. You will not find many this clean, this truck will only go up in value from here! I would be keeping it if I did not have to move across the country! Please read on for more detailed information. What's been done to truck 1. Black Paint job- it's great auto paint but it has some runs and imperfections. Needs some finishing sanding with 2000 grit and buffed and it could look really nice. It does look awesome from 15 feet away as it is, but it could be really nice with some more work. I also have the leftover paint that will come with the truck to match the color if you ever need to touch something up. 2. New Lutina Voodoo camshaft pro installed with receipts 3. 351 Cleveland heads with a multiple angle valve job, decked and set with heavy springs 4. Comp cams hardened push rods & true roller rockers 5. High volume oil pump 6. New gearbox and gearbox bushings 7. New fuel pump 8. New high performance ignition system 9. 1" carb spacer with a Holly 600CFM 10. Edelbrock performer 400 intake 11. Headers with true dual flow master exhaust system 12. New front brake lines, roters, calipers, pads 13. New Warn locking hubs 14. 6" suspension lift with drop brackets 15. New window washer motor, resivour & lines 16. New rear wheel cylinders for drum brakes 17. Rebuilt front and rear end with strong posi traction 18. New performance timing chain and gears 19. New rubber fuel lines and rubber fuel spout necks 20. Sealed and coated front and rear fuel tanks 21. New radiator 22. New inner fenders & front clip 23. New battery, terminal & cables 24. New starter 25. Newly flushed transmission & gasket kit 26. New sky jacker nitro shocks in front and rear 27. Bolt on brackets for quad shocks in the front, just need bolted on. 28. New water pump and hoses throughout the truck. All of these parts have less than 10 hours of drive time with NO offloading. The body is perfect and the bed or truck has no rust at all. The title to this truck only shows 68k actual miles, however, the motor was changed out. Belive it or not it does not do that terrible on gas for some reason, I have had worse on gas before. The oil pressure drops some at idle but the truck runs awesome and strong with no problems. I have had it on a couple 3 hour trips and love it. Really hate to get rid of it, these things are really going up in value. Especially ones that are this clean. It does need some new cab seals around the windows, I have not done anything to the cab yet. However it is 100% solid, no rust! What needs done to it- I ended up moving out of state before I could finish it and it is sitting at a friends house. It is 90% done, but the other 10% is pretty much the fun stuff. The inside still needs restored. The door panels and dash are perfect and it has one of those headliners with the speakers built in but it needs some TLC. The seat belts need bolted in and carpet needs laid and stuff like that. No rust at all in the floor pans. All the gaskets were replaced however it does have a drip oil leaks that will need some attention and re-sealed. Also, the cylinder in the rear brakes need swapped, the truck doesn't have rear brakes now but I have the new cylinders that come with it and it is not hard to swap and bleed them, then they will work perfect. The secondary fuel tank behind the seat just needs hooked up I bypassed it at the "T" when putting new line on, 10 min job, Also the passenger door handle does not work from the outside for some reason, but should be an easy fix. A couple of the body panels were bolted on a little crooked and just need loosened and re-aligned a little, they do not look bad and for most it would be no big deal , but I just wanted to tell everything I can about the truck to make it perfect. These are very minor things that I did not get to before I had to move, and I think they are all very easy to deal with. I loved this truck and have a ton of hours in it but I moved 12 hours away and could not take it with me. It needs a new home that will take her the rest of the way.
